Knitwear questions
What brands ask before they send a knitwear brief.
From 100 pieces per style. We confirm the exact minimum for your yarn and gauge before you commit to anything.
Sampling takes 2–4 weeks. Bulk takes 6–8 weeks from the approved sample. Send the brief at least 14 weeks before your ship date.
Yarn, gauge and knitting time decide the price, so the factory quotes from your brief. Our cost calculator has no knitwear line yet. Sending the brief is free, and the factory quotes and bills you directly.
Yes. If you need GOTS, OEKO-TEX or GRS, say so in the brief and we only place it with factories that can show a current certificate for that product.
Not to send a brief. The factory needs one before it can quote accurately and knit a sample. Our tech pack service turns sketches, references or a sample into a factory-ready pack for £79 per style in 3–5 working days.
